Welcome to the registration page for the 2024 Disability & Mental Health Summit at Beth El Congregation of the South Hills on April 18th and 19th - the largest collection of disability and mental health resources in western PA.

Please use the form below to indicate the sessions and events you are interested in attending. This information helps us meet the needs of everyone who is interested in joining us! We look forward to seeing you at the 11th Annual Disability & Mental Health Summit!

 Continuing Education Credits
The following continuing education credits have been approved (more details are available here):

  • Teachers (Act 48) - All sessions approved for up to 11 credit hours
  • Lawyers (CLE) - Noted sessions are approved for up to 7 credit hours, only $1.50 per credit hour
  • Rehabilitation Counselors CRC (CE) – All sessions are eligible for credit up to 10 hours for Certified Rehabilitation Counselors.  
  • Social Workers, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, and Licensed Professional Counselors (CEU): All sessions approved for up to 11 credit hours - $15 for NASW members, $25 for non-members

Student/Parent Transition Panel
Thursday, April 18th
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

We are pleased to offer a unique opportunity for parents and students who are currently working through the process of transition to learn from their peers. For the first time, the Summit will host a transition-focused panel discussion facilitated by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. The panel will be made up of individuals and families who recently completed the transition from school age to adult services who will provide information and share insights about their unique experience.

The Futures Fair
Thursday, April 18th
6 to 8 p.m.

Also new for 2024! We are so excited to team up with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU) and Mt. Lebanon, Keystone Oaks, Upper St. Clair, Baldwin-Whitehall, Bethel Park, and South Fayette school districts to offer an evening Futures Fair, a transition fair focusing solely on the needs of high schoolers and young adults as they work hard to transition into adulthood, greater independence, and greater opportunity!

Thursday and Friday -- Free IEP/504 Consultations

Free 15-minute private meeting with a special education lawyer: Would you like to schedule an appointment (virtual or in person)? *

Accommodations: ASL Interpreters will be on hand for the 11 a.m. special speaker on Thursday and the 9 a.m. keynote speaker on Friday as well as the legislative panels. If you require additional accommodations, please email RepMiller@pahouse.net no later than April 4th.
