House Democratic Leader Joanna McClinton joined presidents from dozens of Pennsylvania’s independent colleges and universities at the annual Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP) meeting at the Harrisburg Hilton in March. Pennsylvania’s 90 independent colleges and universities enroll 281,000 students and drive $24 billion in economic impact every year. McClinton graduated from two AICUP universities, earning a bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University and a juris doctorate from Villanova University School of Law.
