2025-26 Swearing In!

What can I say besides THANK YOU! To the Lord, my neighbors and colleagues THANK YOU for allowing me to continue being your state representative and your Speaker.

On Tuesday I had the honor of taking my oath of office and being sworn in as your state representative and Speaker of the House. It is an honor that I am beyond grateful for. Every day I get to make the impossible, possible and improve the lives of my neighbors from Philly to Erie. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and am excited for the 2025-26 legislative session!

Delaware County Expungement Clinic

Delco Neighbors - Have questions about expungement and the process to have convictions removed from your record?

On Monday, Jan. 20 my office is partnering with state Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams to offer an expungement clinic for Delaware County residents.

From noon to 2 p.m., Legal Aid of Southeastern PA will be on hand to answer questions and help you with the process.

Walmart Wellness Day is January 11!

Walmart invites communities to prioritize their health in the new year at Walmart Wellness Day on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.. This community event will provide free health screenings, free and low-cost immunizations, and the opportunity to talk with a local Walmart pharmacist!

During the event, affordable immunizations like flu, HPV, tetanus, hepatitis and more will be available. Customers can also participate in free health screenings for blood pressure and more. Insurance is not required to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, which is available at no cost, and other vaccines are covered under most major insurance plans.

PHEAA Webinars

Representatives from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) will be providing a variety of webinars, including an overview of how to apply for all types of financial aid, reviewing financial aid offers, financial aid for non-traditional students, and more!

The Pennie Enrollment deadline is approaching!

You can enroll in 2025 health insurance coverage through Pennie until Jan. 15.

Our neighbors need YOU!

Join the city of Philadelphia for an overnight count surveying people experiencing homelessness! By signing up to be a Team Leader, Counter, Youth and Young Adult Guide, or Event Logistics volunteer, you will:

• Connect with other people who are interested in addressing the needs of those who are experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia.
• Receive training in advance to prepare you.
• Get your own official 2025 Philadelphia PIT Count beanie!
• Participate in the PIT Count kick-off event on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 10 p.m., which will feature light bites, beverages, inspiring speakers, and to meet your team!
