Dear Neighbor,
Through every season, our community continues to shine through service, celebration, and generosity. From supporting our seniors to preserving our heritage, I continue to be inspired by the people and organizations that make our district strong. Below, you’ll find snapshots from some of our recent celebrations, info about my upcoming events, and our latest efforts to give back to our community.

Celebrating Those Who Serve Our Seniors
|
Congratulations are in order! Earlier this week, we helped SPARK Senior Centers (formerly PEAK Center) celebrate 50 years of serving our seniors. For 5 decades, they've been a resource for our older adults to lead full and independent lives, providing a space for connection, community, and activity. I was joined by Senator Maria Collett, County Commissioner Neil Makhija, and Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services in celebrating them, and I was proud to present them with a House Citation in conjunction with Rep. Donna Scheuren.

Honoring our Nation’s Founding Document
|
I was honored to join the Daughters of the American Revolution on the steps of the Montgomery County Courthouse once again for their annual Constitution Day celebration.
The Constitution is more than a founding document; it has guided our great nation through myriad challenges for over two centuries. Even today, when the world we face bears little resemblance to that of our Founding Fathers, our Constitution still provides the framework through which we can take on the issues we face in the modern era and build a better future for all Americans.
Celebrating Constitution Day is not only about honoring our past—it is a powerful reminder that our nation’s founding values of liberty, justice, and equality under the law must be actively upheld, even today.

Giving Back to Our Neighbors
|
Mitzvah Circle, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides clothing and other necessities to so many of our neighbors, suffered a devastating fire last month and lost two truckloads full of supplies.
My Lansdale office is continuing to accept donations to help them make up for what was lost, in partnership with my colleagues in the PA House and Senate.
|
My office also is collecting nonperishable food donations for Garden of Health Inc, another 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates in our community. Their mission is to provide healthy, nutritious food to our community members in need, including those with dietary restrictions.
In the aftermath of recent federal funding cuts, we have seen an increased need for nutritious food throughout our community, and this drive will help them close this gap and keep delivering whole foods so that all in our community can thrive.
