Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta January 27, 2025 | 3:33 PM
HARRISBURG, Jan. 27 – State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, D-Phila., offered the following statement on Holocaust Remembrance Day.
“The Holocaust was one of the most cruel, evil and inhumane events in human history,” Kenyatta said. “Six million Jewish people, and 11 million people of other ethnic groups were subjected to unspeakable cruelty and carnage under the Nazi regime.
“Today, and every day, we remember and honor the innocent lives that were taken during the atrocity that was the Holocaust. As state representative for the district that contains the largest synagogue in the City of Philadelphia, I will always stand firm in my support of the Jewish community, and all marginalized groups of people.”
