Meeting With Residents of Cairnwood Village
|
Along with Senator Maria Collett, I was invited to Cairnwood Village in Bryn Athyn for an informational session with the residents of the retirement community. We discussed what services our offices provide, budget updates, and recent legislation moving through the House and Senate. There was also an opportunity for a question-and-answer session. I always enjoy being out in the community and addressing my constituents face-to-face. It was a lovely afternoon, and I want to thank the residents of Cairnwood Village for their hospitality!

American Legion Liberty Post 308 Citation
|
Last Tuesday, I was honored to recognize American Legion Liberty Post 308 in Willow Grove for the remarkable revitalization and progress the post has made in recent months. The facilities had been in decline along with membership, and the post was having financial difficulty. Thanks to new leadership and dedicated volunteers, they have been able to stabilize their finances, renovate and restore the facility, and revitalize enrollment. I was thrilled to be able to present them with a citation honoring their achievements! Keep up the hard work.

Along with Rep. Melissa Cerrato and Rep. Brian Munroe, we held another successful Veterans Expo at the VE Club in Warminster last Friday. Being a veteran myself, I understand the importance of getting veterans the resources and information they need to be successful and feel supported. Our expo offered veterans a chance to connect with services and programs designed to assist them and address their unique needs, meet and network with fellow veterans, and meet the representatives who serve them in Harrisburg.
Thank you to everyone from each of the offices that made this Veterans Expo possible, and many thanks to all the veterans who came and made this event such a success. We thank you for your service.
