Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program now open

Applications are now available for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program. Pennsylvanians 65 or older, widows and widowers 50 or older, and people with disabilities may qualify for a rebate. Apply online or call my district office at (267) 580-2660 to set up an appointment if you require assistance.
The 2025 income eligibility limit for both homeowners and renters is $46,520 or less with only half of Social Security income counting toward that limit.

Opportunity for college students
|
The Pennsylvania House Fellowship Program is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2025 semester. Applications are due on Saturday, March 1.
The Fellowship Program is based in Pennsylvania’s Capitol Building in Harrisburg. Fellows are assigned to work in House Standing Committees or House Leadership offices, are compensated for their work (which may also include college credit) and are provided the opportunities to draft and present their own legislation, attend meet-and-greets with various public officials and staff, and tour some of the Commonwealth’s historic public spaces, to name a few.
Qualified applicants will be:
- College undergraduate juniors or seniors, graduate students, or law school students.
- Enrolled in a Pennsylvania college/university, or a Pennsylvania resident enrolled in an out-of-state institution.
- Pursuing any major with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
If you know of any college students who would benefit from the Fellowship Program, please feel free to invite them to visit the website.

Code Blue declared; Shelters open
|
Please be advised that a Code Blue declaration will be in effect for Bucks County through Friday, January 24, due to forecasted extreme cold temperatures.
A Code Blue is issued when temperatures are expected to fall below 20°F for two or more consecutive days. The declaration may also consider factors such as wind chill and precipitation.
Shelter Information: Woodside Church Shelter
- Location: 1667 Edgewood Rd., Yardley
- Guests should not arrive before 8:30 p.m.
- Shelter closes at 6:30 a.m. due to daycare operations on the property

Guests needing bus pickup from the Morrisville Bus Stop should call 215-550-3868 x100 and leave a message with their name and phone number. We will do our best to accommodate transportation requests, but they must be made by 5:00 p.m. — no exceptions.
Homeless Drop-In Center:
For those needing daytime shelter, the Reach Out Foundation offers services at their Homeless Drop-In Center
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Location: 152 Monroe Ave., Penndel
- Services available include showers, washer and dryer access, charging stations, and light refreshments.
