Pennsylvania Legislative Latino Caucus, in partnership with Casa de Venezuela and Gente de Venezuela, to host Venezuelan Day

 The Pennsylvania Legislative Latino Caucus, in partnership with Casa de Venezuela and Gente de Venezuela, will host this year’s Venezuelan Day at the Pennsylvania State Capitol.  

Who: 

  • State Rep. Joanna McClinton, speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
  •  State Rep. Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz, chair, Pennsylvania Legislative Latino Caucus 
  • Nelly Jiménez-Arévalo, director, Immigrant Affairs, Montgomery County Commissioners Office.
  • Norman Bristol Colon, chief diversity officer, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Eduardo Hayek, journalist, artist, and advocate. 

When: 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 25 

Where: Main Capitol Rotunda, Harrisburg 

The group will celebrate Venezuelan heritage and resilience in Pennsylvania, honor the leadership and civic contributions of Venezuelan American professionals and promote visibility, inclusion, and policy dialogue around immigrant issues in Pennsylvania.

Now in its third consecutive year, the event continues to grow in reach and impact—uplifting voices, fostering connection, and affirming the dignity of Venezuelans in the diaspora.
