Bizzarro’s Senior Fair & Older Living Expo is Monday

Annual event expected to draw 1,000 residents

ERIE, Aug. 21 – One of the biggest Senior Fairs in the state will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, when state Rep. Ryan Bizzarro hosts his annual Senior Fair & Older Living Expo at the Zem Zem Shrine Club at 38th and Zuck Road in Erie.

“Each year, my team and I try to outdo ourselves in making the event bigger and better than the previous years,” Bizzarro said. “We managed to add several new wrinkles this year, but our end goal is to put seniors in touch with the people, programs and local businesses that can help them enjoy living in this region. Life is all about making connections and building relationships, and this event is no different. We host this event to help seniors create the connections that can change their lives for the better.”

More than 70 vendors have RSVP’d for the event, and the fair again will feature giveaways, refreshments, veterans’ information, brochures about valuable state programs and entertainment – all free to seniors. Seniors, their family members and friends, and caretakers are all welcome to attend.

Bizzarro’s Senior Fair typically draws about 1,000 residents each year.
