This Thanksgiving, I’m especially grateful for the people who make our community strong — the families, workers, volunteers, small businesses, and neighbors who show up for one another every single day.
Thank you for your support, your kindness, and the countless ways you help make our corner of Pennsylvania a better place to live.
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful, restful, and meaningful Thanksgiving. Enjoy the food, the company, and the moments that matter most.
Be thankful. Be grateful. Stay blessed. Happy Thanksgiving!

THANKFUL FOR YOUR GENEROSITY
|
THANK YOU!
I would like to thank everyone who donated to our Personal Care Product Collection Drive! Your generosity will make a real, immediate difference for neighbors who need a little extra support.
Because of you, we’re able to provide essential items that help people feel dignified, confident, and cared for this holiday season. This community always shows up — and I’m grateful for each of you who took the time to give. Thank you for always remembering that we’re in this together. God Bless.

The House returns to Harrisburg for session on Monday, Dec. 15. To see how we voted on all measures, go here.

For too many families, when they sit down at the kitchen table the math just isn’t adding up. Bills are rising, groceries cost more, and every month feels like a stretch. That’s why this year’s budget focuses squarely on relief. We expanded investments in child care and early education to make daycare more affordable, so you can get to work and your children can thrive. We invested in our schools and supported public safety to keep our communities strong. We invested in small businesses to create higher-paying jobs.
And we passed a tax cut, putting more money directly back in your pocket. You can see whether you qualify, and how much you could receive, using this online calculator.
The budget isn't perfect, but when prices continue to creep higher, we have to do something to make sure everyday life is more affordable.

POLICY WINS IN THIS YEAR’S BUDGET
|
From exploring the lack of affordability to economic development in our hometowns to the need to prepare for international events in 2025, the Policy Committee put the spotlight on needs & issues that became part of this year’s budget.
We started the conversation, and this year’s budget delivers. You can read more here.

I will always advocate for you and local projects in Harrisburg. Our region is vital to the state’s economy, so I’ve gone to work to secure the state funding we need for local schools, seniors, veterans, improved housing and local businesses. I helped secure $92 million in funding for local projects during the 2023-24 session, and this year state funding for projects in our region has surpassed $18.6 million.
You sent me to Harrisburg to make sure our region has a voice at the table and receives the funding it needs to thrive.

POLICY COMMITTEE CONTINUES WORK

This year, the House Majority Policy Committee has held 42 hearings across 32 ZIP codes in 13 counties.
As a member of the House Majority Leadership team, I serve as Chairman of the House Majority Policy Committee. We travel the state, exploring issues and talking to members of the community, workers, advocates and experts on a variety of topics. We examine issues to see if there is a legislative solution to improving lives across the commonwealth.
UP NEXT: The Committee will travel to Philadelphia and Chester County in December.
