Will support Biology Lab and roof renovations

MONROEVILLE, Feb. 5 – Nearly $6 million in state funding will support renovations at the Community College of Allegheny County’s Boyce Campus in Monroeville, state Rep. Brandon Markosek, D-Allegheny, announced today.

Markosek said that funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Education includes $2.9 million for the Biology Lab renovations and $3 million for roof renovations on the campus.

"These investments will provide students at the Boyce Campus with access to updated labs and safe, well-maintained buildings," Markosek said. "These improvements will directly enhance their learning experience and allow the campus to continue delivering a quality education.”

CCAC's Boyce Campus was one of 13 state community colleges awarded a total of $56 million to help support capital projects and renovations that will improve campus life for their learners.
