WEST MIFFLIN, Sept. 28 – State Rep. Nick Pisciottano is hosting a free document shredding event from 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday, Oct. 1 at West Mifflin Volunteer Fire Co. No. 3 located at 3722 Rodeo Dr.
“This is a free chance to declutter your home while ensuring your personal information doesn’t fall into the wrong hands,” Pisciottano said. “With scams and identity theft on the rise, I’m happy my office can offer this free service to help protect our local residents.”
There is a limit of three boxes of documents per vehicle. The event is for individuals only, not businesses. No electronics or trash will be accepted.
Pisciottano and his staff will be at the event to share the latest information on state programs and to answer questions on state-related matters.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP by calling Pisciottano’s district office at 412-466-1940.
