I want to wish U.S. Rep. Dwight Evans the best for his upcoming retirement after four decades of serving Pennsylvania. Rep. Evans started his career as a public-school teacher, molding and shaping our future leaders. He made history as the first African American Chair of the House Appropriations Committee - a position he served with integrity. I know he will continue to serve his community even after retirement.

Thank you for your service to Philly and Pennsylvania.

The members of DC33 deserve a fair wage!! Their front line workers of our city. I stand in solidarity with DC33!!! My prayers that all parties return to bargaining table to reach an agreement!!!

It was great to see so many neighbors and friends join us for a Community Health Fair! We enjoyed cultural performances while making sure everyone received free and vital health screenings.

I want to wish my intern Dylan who’s currently attending North Carolina A&T located in Greensboro, NC, a happy birthday.

It’s a small world; I met her at my church and my alma mater Bennett College is across the street.
