We cannot allow profits to be put over patients and their health care! As we saw recently with the closing of Crozier hospitals – private equity is NOT the answer to sustainable healthcare.

I voted to stop private equity firms from buying entire hospital systems only to mismanage them and make healthcare less accessible.

Hardworking Pennsylvanians deserve to enjoy events for a reasonable price and the outrageous fees for ticket sales often deter them from purchasing tickets. I was happy to vote YES to capping fees on ticket resellers.

We made so much progress last year for Menstrual Equity and I’m happy to say that my legislation H.B. 1100 is moving through the legislative process quick! It’s moving out of committee and expected for another vote next week!

This bill would allow for women to use SNAP or WIC benefits to purchase period products and diapers. These aren’t LUXURIES, they are NECESSITIES!
