In case you missed it, the state House of Representatives passed my two pieces of legislation that would give the survivors of childhood sexual abuse - whose statute of limitations has expired - an opportunity to seek justice in our courts. It has been 7 years since the 2018 Grand Jury report on childhood sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, and these bills are the last legislative recommendation from that report. I am grateful to my colleagues for supporting these important and overdue pieces of legislation.
