Free bike raffle, festivities on National Ride a Bike Day

BRENTWOOD, April 30 – State Rep. Jessica Benham, D-Allegheny, is inviting residents to join her in celebrating National Ride a Bike Day at Brentwood Borough’s Bicycle Bonanza on Sunday, May 5.
The event is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be held in the Brentwood High School front parking lot located at 3601 Brownsville Road in Pittsburgh.
“Come out and celebrate cycling in our community,” Benham said. “There will be a bike raffle, bike inspections, an obstacle course, and more all at no cost. I want to thank Brentwood Borough’s parks and recreation and police departments for all the work they put into organizing what is sure to be a fantastic event!”
Benham said the event is funded by a grant from the state Department of Community and Economic Development.
