Montgomery County primary information

The primary election is June 2, and I encourage you to visit the Montgomery County Voter Services website if you have any questions about casting your ballot.

Mail-in ballot information

Completed mail-in ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day – postmarks do not count.

If you have not yet mailed your completed ballot, drop it off! The U.S. Postal Service has issued a statement explaining they cannot guarantee overnight shipping or that ballots returned by mail will be received by the county office by deadline.

Montgomery County has provided secure drop-off locations that are camera monitored and staffed by county personnel to make sure that every voice is heard. Just today, the county added five more drop boxes that will be open on Election Day only.

Click here for information on the drop-off locations.

Please note, in accordance with the Pennsylvania Election Code, you may only return your own ballot.

Provisional ballots

Voters who didn’t receive their mail-in ballots, got the wrong one, or are just concerned about their ballots being received in time may vote by provisional ballot at their polling places. Provisional ballots will be counted after county officials confirm the person did not vote by mail.

You cannot be told no. Click here for more information on provisional ballots.

Voting in person

Because of COVID-19, many polling places have changed.
