Siegel’s statement on the relocation of the Allentown Art Museum

ALLENTOWN, April 23 – After the announcement of the relocation of the Allentown Art Museum, state Rep. Josh Siegel released the below statement:

"The Allentown Art Museum's purchase of the old police station builds on the success of the Moxy and Archer Music Hall. This move ensures a cherished institution takes its rightful place amongst Allentown’s newest assets, bringing together the very best of the city’s past with all the greatest of its future. I am committed to supporting initiatives that enhance our city's vibrancy and ensure that the arts remain accessible to all residents."?

The relocation site for the Allentown Art Museum is currently the site of the 10th and Hamilton Street police patrol station. The building will be demolished and rebuilt for the art museum.
