Pa. state Rep. Peter Schweyer, Chair of the House Education Committee, is pleased with the final report from the Basic Education Funding Commission and feels its recommendations could have a huge impact for students across the commonwealth. In addition to increased funding for school districts that need it most, Schweyer says the report also aims to provide property tax relief and invest in new school buildings.
