Sappey to hold ‘What’s Next in K-12 Education’ virtual panel discussion

Those interested in attending should RSVP to get the link

KENNETT SQUARE, Aug. 4 – State Rep. Christina Sappey will hold a virtual panel discussion on K-12 education in Pennsylvania Thursday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m.

The discussion will focus on the challenges of the 2020-21 school year for families and educators and what is being done to address these issues.

“There is a lot of anxiety out there about learning loss, health and safety, mental health and how our schools are working to address the needs of our students,” Sappey said. “This virtual discussion is a great way to log on from wherever you are spending these waning days of summer to get information and ask questions as we get ready to head back to school.”

Panelists include Anne Baloga, executive director of the House Democratic Appropriations Committee; Dr. Robert Sokolowski, superintendent of the West Chester Area School District; and Dr. George Fiore, executive director of the Chester County Intermediate Unit.

Those interested in attending must RSVP to obtain the link to join in. RSVPs may be made by calling Sappey’s office at 484-200-8264 or by completing this form: https://www.pahouse.net/Sappey/Form/?id=1352
