Healthy Parks and Open Spaces

PHILADELPHIA, AUG. 15– Ideas to support and grow local parks and other open spaces took center stage during a House Democratic Policy Committee hearing in Philadelphia. The hearing, titled Healthy Parks and Open Spaces, was hosted by Reps. Morgan Cephas and Rep. Rick Krajewski, both D-Philadelphia, at the Kingsessing Recreation Center on Monday, August 15 from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. It featured testimony from local and state government officials, as well as organizations dedicated to cleaning up and maintaining parks and open spaces.
