McNeill announces more than $1 million in new CFA grants

HARRISBURG, Jan. 20 – State Rep. Jeanne McNeill announced today that $1.48 million in state funding has been awarded to two projects in her Lehigh County legislative district.

“This funding is about investing in the people and places that make our district strong,” said McNeill, D-Lehigh. “By bringing state resources back home, we’re helping to improve quality of life, strengthen our local economy, and address the needs our residents have shared with me. I’m grateful to everyone who helped make this possible.”

The Commonwealth Financing Agency approved funding for the following projects in McNeill’s district:

  • $1,310,000 to construct a parking garage connected to the Lehigh Valley International Airport located in Hanover Township.
  • $170,681 for Front Street and Liberty Street drainage improvements in Catasauqua Borough.

Funding was administered by the CFA, which was established in 2004 as an independent agency to administer Pennsylvania’s economic stimulus packages.
