Dear Neighbors,

I hope this email finds you well.

I want to share with you some valuable information on state programs and services and exciting updates from around the district. My staff and I are available to assist you with your concerns and access to state-related programs and services at my Whitehall office, located at 1080 Schadt Ave., so please stop by or call 610-266-1273.

You can also send me an email by clicking here.

And thank you for allowing me into your inbox to keep you informed of what’s happening in Harrisburg and our legislative district.

Are you still eligible for SNAP benefits?

I want to remind anyone who receives SNAP food benefits that big changes have been made to the program. Most adults must work 20 hours a week to stay on SNAP. If you can’t prove that you work enough, you can only get three months of SNAP every three years.

There are exemptions in the law that allow some people to maintain their benefits, and PA’s Department of Human Services can help you navigate these changes. For more information, visit the DHS Website or call them at 800-692-7462.

Get a yellow dot for emergencies

In an emergency, every second matters. That’s why PennDOT has a Yellow Dot Program to help first responders quickly get your vital information after a crash.

By placing a yellow dot decal in your vehicle's rear window, first responders know to check your glove compartment for a booklet with information about medical conditions, allergies, and emergency contacts. Click here to learn more and request your kit.

New FAFSA form feedback opportunity

Want to help improve the FAFSA form? You can now request access to join the 2026–27 FAFSA beta. If you’re selected, you’ll be able to complete, sign, and submit your 2026–27 FAFSA form early. Request access here: StudentAid.gov/joinbeta.
