McClinton Announces $525,780 for Pedestrian Safety Upgrades in Yeadon

HARRISBURG, Feb. 24, 2025 – Pennsylvania House Speaker Joanna McClinton today announced that Yeadon Borough has been awarded $525,780 in state Multimodal Transportation Funds for

traffic signal and ADA-compliant sidewalk upgrades at the intersection of Church Lane and Myra Avenue.

“This investment for Yeadon Borough will ensure safety for all pedestrians and motorists at the intersection at Church Lane and Myra Avenue,” said McClinton, D-Phila./Delaware. “I’m grateful that the Shapiro administration is making these important investments in our community’s infrastructure and safety.”

The Multimodal Transportation Fund provides grants to encourage economic development and ensure that a safe and reliable system of transportation is available to the residents of the commonwealth.
