McClinton visits Shippensburg University to participate in the 36th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. March for Humanity

During her visit, Speaker McClinton spoke about King’s legacy, signed the Living the Dream Pledge, and marched alongside students.

House Speaker Joanna McClinton made a visit to Shippensburg University (Cumberland County) on Jan. 30, 2024, to participate in the university’s March for Humanity, which celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  During her visit, Speaker McClinton spoke about King’s legacy, signed the Living the Dream Pledge, and marched alongside students. The event was sponsored by Shippensburg’s African American Organization (AFRO-AM) and the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA).
