New Programming at Francis J. Myers Recreation Center

The Francis J. Myers Recreation Center has reopened after extensive renovations—and it looks great! I am thrilled that the Commonwealth was able to contribute $4.5 million in state funding toward the $27 million Rebuild Philadelphia Investment Fund, which facilitated the project.

Following the reopening, the rec center announced updated programming, including flag football leagues, basketball skills and drills, a parenting group, line dancing, resources for young adults and teens and more.

For full details on the schedule, email the rec center at myersreccenter@phila.gov, or follow the center on Facebook
