The Delaware County Health Department is partnering with Jefferson Health System to sponsor a mobile mammogram screening event on Friday, Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Wellness Center in Chester, 151 W. 5th Street, Chester.
A certified mammography technologist from Jefferson Health will perform each mammogram and timely screening results will be provided to each patient.

This year, Pennsylvania is introducing SUNbucks, a new grocery benefits program that provides households with a one-time payment of $120 for each eligible child to buy food while school is out.
Children who applied and were approved for free/reduced-price school meals or who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits are automatically eligible for SUN bucks. Those who are not a part of these programs can still apply. For more information visit pa.gov.
