This week in session; fighting for you at home and in Harrisburg!
This week, I was hard at work in the Capitol fighting for you and for better jobs, better communities and better schools. This week thousands of our neighbors visited the Capitol to advocate for causes ranging from raising the wage, researching sickle cell anemia and ending ALS. Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority incorporated, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority incorporated and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women joined us at the Capitol for their advocacy days. We commemorated the Eagles winning Superbowl LIX and celebrated everything they do to support our communities.
This week, my House Democratic colleagues and I passed important bills that will help our neighbors and improve our communities

Day of Action: Vote by Mail
Join the Philadelphia City Commissioners this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Day of Action: Vote by Mail at all ten satellite election offices. Enjoy live DJ sets, food, and nonpartisan voter services as you apply for or return your mail-in ballot.

Service Academy Info Session
Join Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon’s staff and representatives from military organizations to learn about the resources available for high school students in southeastern Pennsylvania interested in serving their country. Information will be provided about the application process for receiving a congressional nomination to one of the U.S. service academies, as well as other paths to service available to interested young people.

Apply for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate!
The Property Tax Rent Rebate program is open!
The rebate program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians 65 or older; widows and widowers 50 or older; and people with disabilities 18 or older.
Applications can be filed online at mypath.pa.gov.
