Snowstorm Reminders!

With the potential for a major winter storm this weekend, here are a few things you can do now to get ready, shared by the PA Emergency Management Agency.

This graphic highlights simple things like gathering a few key supplies, planning to stay indoors during the worst of the storm, postponing travel if possible, and checking in on neighbors who may need extra help.

Stay safe out there.

Also, it’s important that you and your family are safe and alert with road conditions. When winter weather hits, you can check www.511pa.com before you travel. You can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles. 511PA also shows plow-truck locations and details of when state-maintained roadways were last plowed.
