Crafting the State Budget

This week, I traveled to Harrisburg to participate in the House Appropriations Committee’s budget hearings, which are a crucial step in crafting our annual state budget. As a member of the Appropriations Committee, I’ll be at the state Capitol over the next several weeks asking questions to leaders of state departments and agencies about how they plan to use tax dollars allocated to them in the budget. I’ll do everything in power to ensure this budget invests in the people of the 24th Legislative District.

A Lovely Property Tax/Rent Rebate Event

Love was in the air last Friday at the Vintage Center for Active Adults and my annual Valentine's Day Property Tax/Rent Rebate Sign-Up Day! As always, there was line dancing, and I enjoyed the afternoon with my seniors in the district. Thanks to everyone who joined my staff and me on Valentine’s Day for a successful event.
