Below are free services and programs available to help make life more affordable for older Pennsylvanians. My office is here to answer questions and connect individuals to these resources. 

Property Tax/Rent Rebate Programprovides rebates on property tax or rent paid in the previous year by any income eligible senior, as well as individuals with disabilities.

PACE and PACENEToffers low-cost prescription medication to individuals 65 and older who have been a Pennsylvania resident for at least 90 days prior to the date of the application and meet specific income requirements.

Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight: offers free Medicare counseling for older Pennsylvanians to answer their questions and provide objective, easy-to-understand information about Medicare, Medicare Supplemental Insurance, Medicaid and Long-Term Care Insurance.

Capital Area Transit (CAT): Passengers 65 years of age or older ride free on the CAT fixed route bus system. To be eligible for the Free Fare Program, passengers must register with CAT to obtain a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania ID Card.
