PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 21 – State Rep. Kevin Boyle, D-Phila., presented a $74,831 check to Congregations of Shaare Shamayim today.
The check is for a state grant the congregation is receiving for renovations and upgrades to their facilities.
“Congregations of Shaare Shamayim is a significant institution in our community, and I am happy to see these funds go towards upgrades to their facilities,” Boyle said.
Boyle was joined by members of the congregation and Congregation Executive Director Jacques Lurie.
