PA State Rep. Joe Hohenstein, alongside fellow legislators and community leaders, honored the legacy of war hero Al Schmid by dedicating a memorial bell as part of American250PA’s Bells Across PA art series. Schmid's bravery during the Guadalcanal campaign in WWII earned him the prestigious Navy Cross. This dedication ceremony, held on Veterans Day, served as a reminder of his courage and sacrifice.
