HARRISBURG, Nov. 1 – State Rep. Carol Hill-Evans, D-York, today announced that York County has received $12.5 million in grants from the state’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program that will benefit organizations throughout the 95th Legislative District, including York City.
“This influx of money from the RACP benefit York and it’s residents,” Hill-Evans said. “I am diligently working to strengthen this community—and these grants are another step in the right direction.”

Also, as part of awards in York County, Newberry Township was awarded $2,000,000 as part of a project for a multiuse emergency services building. Northern York County Regional police serve North York Borough – in the 95th district.
RACP is a state program administered by the Office of the Budget whose grants aim to bolster community development and economic activity.
