Harkins honored with PBS Good Neighbor Award

ERIE, May 6 -- State Rep. Pat Harkins, D-Erie, today was recognized with the prestigious PBS Good Neighbor Award, celebrating his longstanding commitment to community service, civic engagement, and improving the lives of residents across Erie County and Pennsylvania.
The PBS Good Neighbor Award is presented to individuals who exemplify compassion, leadership, and dedication to strengthening their communities. Harkins was selected for his tireless advocacy on behalf of working families, his support for local economic development, and his hands-on approach to public service.
“I’ve always believed strong communities are built by people looking out for one another,” said Harkins. “I’m grateful to be part of that work every day.
