Giral to host tailgate at Xfinity Mobile Arena, celebrate Puerto Rican community

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 24 – State Rep. Jose Giral will host a tailgate for the Eagles vs. Giants game on Sunday, Oct. 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in the D Lot between D-3 and D-5.

“I want this tailgate to serve as a celebration for another win for Philadelphia and for the Puerto Rican community,” Giral said.

“With Bad Bunny being named the Super Bowl performer this year – this tailgate will bring our people together to celebrate Philadelphia, the Eagles, and our vibrant Puerto Rican community in the city. I want my local community to come out and celebrate our culture, and to be proud of our background; all while celebrating with the Puerto Rican community we’ve built over decades in the City of Philadelphia.”

Giral is the co-chair of the Pennsylvania Legislative Latino Caucus. The Caucus celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month earlier this month in Harrisburg’s Capitol and passed H.R. 300, recognizing Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 as Hispanic Heritage Month in Pennsylvania.
