Budget negotiations are ongoing in Harrisburg, and House Democrats are continuing to fight for working families, seniors, and students by making sure the budget reflects our values. In just the first six months of this session, we’ve passed bills to raise the minimum wage, preserve essential health care protections, fund public transportation, and expand opportunities for Pennsylvanians across the board.
The House is governing, compromising, and moving legislation forward, because that’s what we were elected to do. It’s time for Senate Republicans to stop creating a bottleneck. They should come to the table and work to govern our commonwealth effectively. Pennsylvanians can’t afford more gridlock--we need results.
