Fiedler Honors South Philly Tuskegee Airman

PA state Rep. Elizabeth Fiedler celebrates the 100th birthday and achievements of Tuskegee Airman Lt. Colonel George Hardy. Colonel Hardy is a highly decorated pilot who served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He received several prestigious awards for his service, including the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 1971, Colonel Hardy continues to advocate for racial equality and bring attention to the discrimination faced by people of color in the military. He celebrated his 100th birthday on June 8th, 2025.
