Adagio Health to honor PA Black Maternal Health Caucus with Leadership & Legacies Women’s Health Advocate Award

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 7 – Adagio Health will present its inaugural “Women’s Health Advocate Award” to the Pennsylvania Black Maternal Health Caucus during the Leadership & Legacies: Recognizing Pittsburgh Women’s Health Heroes event on Friday, Aug. 8.
Adagio Health established this event to honor individuals and groups making a measurable impact on women’s health throughout Western Pennsylvania.
This year’s Leadership & Legacies ceremony celebrates the Caucus’ efforts to improve birthing outcomes for Black mothers, birthing people, and families through the Pennsylvania MOMNIBUS, their groundbreaking legislative package of maternal health bills which align with Adagio Health’s own priorities and initiatives.
The VIP Reception begins at 6 p.m. with the main event taking place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Roost (Near Market Square) at 250 Forbes Ave., Suite 201, Pittsburgh, 15222.
PA Black Maternal Health Co-Chairs Rep. La’Tasha D. Mayes, D-Allegheny, and Rep. Gina H. Curry, D-Delaware, will be there to accept the award.
