SEPTA Update

The House has not yet been called back into session, although leaders from both chambers continue to negotiate a full budget and SEPTA funding. As someone who has fought for years to bring train service back to Pottstown, the last thing I want to see is a crippled, deteriorated, and slimmed down mass transit engine in the southeast. I'll continue to support a sustainable plan that also adds accountability and management best practices.

CHIP isn’t only for low-income families. Parents may think their kids can't get CHIP coverage because they make too much money. Not true!

CHIP covers uninsured kids and teens up to age 19 who are not eligible for Medical Assistance.

You have till Dec. 31, 2025, to apply for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program, and my office is available to help!

PennDOT Roadwork Update

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Monday, August 18, through Friday, August 22, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., a periodic lane closure will be in place on westbound U.S. 422 between the Sanatoga (Evergreen Road) and Armand Hammer Boulevard interchanges.
Monday, August 18, through Friday, August 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., a periodic lane closure will be in place on eastbound U.S. 422 between the Armand Hammer Boulevard and Sanatoga (Evergreen Road) interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
