Supporting Our Neighbors Experiencing Food Insecurity
Due to the shutdown of the federal government, SNAP payments will be delayed beginning in November 2025. This will disproportionately harm Philadelphia children, seniors, and working families. We’re fortunate in Philadelphia to have so many organizations and nonprofits that can assist in times of need, but it’s hard to replace or supplement these federal benefits for the long-term, especially when the state is unable to support these programs. Use this map below as a guide for some of the free food and meal sites in our area, and please reach out to my office to learn more and find out about state and local services that may be available to you.
