TODAY: Hill-Evans will bring together local nonprofit leaders to address the state budget impasse

YORK, Sept. 3 – State Rep. Carol Hill-Evans, D-York, will hold a news conference today in response to messages her office is receiving from local nonprofit leaders who are sounding the alarm about the serious repercussions the ongoing state budget impasse is having on their organizations’ ability to provide the services the York community depends on.

The event will serve not only to address the status of the budget and the reasons for its delay, but also to bring these community leaders together to speak with one unified voice. Hill-Evans will also call on PA Senate Republican leaders to take a sincere seat at the negotiating table to resolve the crisis.
