HARRISBURG, Jan. 29 – State Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria/Somerset, announced that Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, Cambria County has been awarded a $847 grant from the Small Business and Household Pollution Prevention Grant Program.
The grant reimburses half of the cost of developing and operating a household hazardous waste collection event at the municipal buildings for Tunnelhill and Summerhill Township Sept. 7 through 21 last year.
"The beautification and cleanup work being done by Keep Cambria County Beautiful is extremely important to the residents of Cambria County and to the environment," Burns said. "This grant confirms that."
