EBENSBURG, Aug. 29 – State Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria, will host a Senior Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at the Young Peoples Community Center, 300 Prave St.
“I always look forward to hosting my Senior Fairs,” Burns said. “It’s an event geared toward providing seniors with the most up-to-date information on a variety of services and state-related programs. Plus, it’s a fun way to spend a few hours on a Friday.”
Attendees will receive information on services such as the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program and PACE/PACENET, the state’s prescription assistance programs. Additional resources will be available on housing, insurance and transportation.
Burns and his staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance on a range of government-related programs and services. A free meal will be provided, along with games and prizes.
RSVPs for the meal are suggested by Sept. 15. Residents may call Burns’ office at 814-472-8021. for more information or to RSVP.
