Burns’ annual Kids’ Fair to be held March 23

With special guest, the Easter Bunny; RSVP by March 20 for this free event

EBENSBURG, March 13 State Rep. Frank Burns will host his annual free Kids’ Fair with the Easter Bunny next week.

Open to children 13 or younger and their guardians, the Kids’ Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at the Young Peoples Community Center, 300 Prave St.

“It’s just one way I try to give back to the community,” said Burns, D-Cambria. “This is an opportunity for parents and guardians to learn more about some of the state programs available to them and their children, plus kids can visit with the event’s special guest: the Easter Bunny! There’s nothing like watching the kids visit the Easter Bunny and see their faces light up in enjoyment."

Parents, grandparents and guardians are encouraged to bring their cameras for photos.

Burns said in addition to the big bunny, lunch will be provided free for the kids – adults may join in for a small fee, and representatives from the Pennsylvania State Police, Game Commission and Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will be available to provide educational materials. Burns and his staff also will be available to answer questions and provide help with state-related programs.

To RSVP for the Kids’ Fair, the adults should call Burns’ office at 814-472-8021 by March 20.
