Burns to host popular ‘Concealed Carry’ event

Urges gun owners to come learn about firearms rules, regulations

EBENSBURG, Nov. 14 – Recognizing the importance and sanctity of the Second Amendment, state Rep. Frank Burns will host his popular Concealed Carry Seminar at the end of the month.

Burns said those interested in attending the seminar at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 in the Cover Hill Volunteer Fire Hall, 985 Remington Drive, Johnstown should register to attend.

Law enforcement representatives will speak on the rules and regulations regarding firearm transport and use in Pennsylvania – including primers on concealed carry, the Castle Doctrine, using firearms for personal protection and related legal liabilities.

“As chairman of the Second Amendment Caucus, I feel it’s important to know your rights as a law-abiding gun owner,” Burns said. “These events have proven to be extremely educational even for the most experienced firearm users and they are quite popular, so I urge those interested to RSVP.”

Anyone wishing to attend the Concealed Carry Seminar is asked to call Burns’ Ebensburg office at 814-472-8021 by Monday, Nov. 27.
