Grants will help boost redevelopment, create jobs

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 23 – Just in time for the holidays, state Rep. Ed Gainey, D-Allegheny, today is said he is thrilled to announce that at least $4 million in state grants has been awarded to several local projects in the east Pittsburgh region.
“I want to thank everyone who has worked on these projects to get them up and running,” Gainey said. “This is tremendously good news right before the holidays and marks an important investment in many of our communities. And I want to thank Governor Tom Wolf for working with me to make many of these projects happen.”
