days the Senate has failed to act on the House-passed
PA ABC (SB 1137) health-care reform plan. According to the Institute
of Medicine, two Pennsylvanians die every day as a result of being uninsured.
The state House Democratic Majority made significant
strides on behalf of Pennsylvanians this legislative
session, with many important proposals enacted in
September and October of 2008 alone.
