According to the Center for Workforce Information and Analysis, Pennsylvanians without a high school diploma comprise a plurality of minimum wage earners (35.1%), surpassing the national rate of 19.5%. Although those with a bachelor’s degree or higher comprise 12.9% of PA minimum wage earners, those with an associate’s degree account for the smallest percentage for minimum wage earners at 8.2%.

The US Census Bureau has reported that the 5 fastest growing PA counties are Cumberland ( 6.8%), Lebanon ( 5.8%), Centre ( 5.7%), Lehigh ( 5.3%), and Lancaster ( 4.6%). The 5 fastest declining counties include Cameron (-11.7%), Cambria (-8.3%), Venango (-6.8%), Susquehanna (-6.3%) and McKean (-5.7).
